Some Suggestions on Registering via the PWDCA Specialty Website.

Following are some hints on how to make best use of the website and the Store to handle registrations. But remember, nothing you do can hurt ANYTHING! And we are just an email away. And each page has our blue site menu at the top (or you can use the SiteMap page).

We are organized so that you can READ, 'RITE , REMIT, and REVEL!

  • READ about everything here on the site in the sections on the Specialty, FAQs, Logistics and in your BIG Brochure;
  • 'RITE (fill in) several webforms to VOLUNTEER, for CANINE REGISTRATION and PEOPLE REGISTRATION in the SignUP! section;
  • REMIT - pay for your event registrations (or those of others) at the STORE; and, last
  • REVEL: SHOP till you drop when you see all our merchandise!!

You can do this in one sitting or seven. So if you want to visit the Store now and again or if you forget something, don't worry. Just come back anytime. We will be glad to see you!

It might be helpful to have read your BIG Brochure and even made some notes on it -- especially for the events you want to attend.

At checkout time, also have handy your Visa or MasterCard. We accept both credit and debit cards.

Figure out what you are going to do: Deadlines for Auction Items, Baskets for the Basket Raffle, mementos for the Rainbow Wall and some of the events (like Water) come up early - there is information on all of these on the website and in the brochure.

Notice that we are using the Superintendent for most of the event registrations such as Conformation, Sweeps, etc. There will be separate premiums for those events (also for Water) and we cannot handle signups via our website. Sorry. HOWEVER, you can sign up for Breeders Class and Superdog Events, here and only here!!

The SignUP! section on the site will take you to the events we can register you for.

VOLUNTEERS - we have a webform for you to indicate when you can help out. It would be wonderful if all attendees volunteered to help.

CANINE REGISTRATION - READ, 'RITE and REMIT. There is a lot of information on all of the events in the Brochure and on the website. Enjoy reading about all of what we have planned. Then, 'RITE us a webform for each Canine you are entering in our events for the Specialty. If you look at the Canine Reservation form in the SignUP! section you will see what information we need about your dog and which events we can register you for. You do not need this form if you are only entering events with separate premiums (Conformation, Water, etc.). But for events we can register you for (see the form), we need one form for each dog. Then you can go to the Store page, order your events, and REMIT with a major credit or debit card.

Say you have 2 dogs who need CERFs and one is also going to enter Superdog. Fill out a Canine Reservation form for each dog; both will get the CERF box checked; and on one form you will also fill out the Superdog requirements. After you submit these forms, you can take the link that goes right into the Store. When you go to the Store to Order and pay for these items, you can simply indicate you are paying for one Superdog entry and 2 CERFS. Just be sure to hit Order for each item you want. When you go there it will make more sense - check it out in advance if you are curious.

PEOPLE REGISTRATION - Surprise!! READ, 'RITE and REMIT. We have tons of information on every People event in the Specialty! Enjoy your reading!! Then 'RITE a webform to us showing yourself and everyone else for whom you are paying a registration fee. You can then follow the link right to the Store and order/pay for all your People events: registrations, dinners, lunches and so on.

Let's say you and your partner are doing everything together except she wants Meat and you are a Veggie-type. No problem: most all of your Order quantities can be set to 2 and then you can hit Order -- except for that all important CHART YOUR COURSE Awards Dinner; there, just Order one Prime Rib, come back to the order form and order one Veggie Napolen dinner. Again, check it out if you are curious.

As for the REVELing - - well, you can shop any time, and we hope you will return over and over. On one page in the Store we have everything from logo items to show catalogs. You can shop along with your registrations or do it later, we will get everything together for you at the Specialty.
